The club's preferred mechanism is to receive payments via Direct Debit as it incurs the smallest transaction fee and is also administratively simple.
In order to pay by Direct Debit you will need to create a Direct Debit mandate with Go Cardless (our direct debit payment provider). Once you have done this, we will collect your joining membership fee and subsequent membership fees each year by Direct Debit. You will receive an e-mail notification via Go Cardless when this happens. You will also have the option to use the mandate to pay for one-off purchases (such as the annual calendar, meets or hut fees).
Your bank details do not pass through, nor are stored on, the Rockhoppers Mountaineering Club website.

You confirm you are over 18 and understand that hill walking, climbing and mountaineering activities may result in personal injury or death. You are aware of and accept these risks and accept that you are responsible for your own actions and involvement.
2. Data Usage:
By applying for membership you give consent to your membership information being held on computer, and are willing to have your address, telephone number and email address circulated to members and used for the purposes of the Rockhoppers Mountaineering Club. For 3rd party liability insurance and administration purposes your details will also be shared with the British Mountaineering Council (BMC).
